Lockheed Martin at RIAT 2024
Lockheed Martin is proud to once again be sponsoring the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford this year. 2024 is a very special year for us at RIAT as it marks the 50th anniversary of the F-16, backbone of NATO and many other allied nations. With 4,600 airframes manufactured over the last five decades, the aircraft has become one of the most successful combat jets in history. To celebrate this, the Royal International Air Tattoo 2024 will host a global celebration of the F-16 Fighting Falcon with 28 F-16s of different generations from 11 different nations displayed on Viper Line, and of course impressive flying demonstrations of the F-16.
Another backbone of NATO – the F-35 Lightning II – will also feature at RIAT with two B-variants from RAF 207 Squadron present, one of which will partake in the flying display on Saturday.
We are also lead sponsor of the Techno Zone® again this year where you and your kids can discover all kinds of exciting aerospace innovations and technologies.
