Defense of Guam

Located in the middle of the Western Pacific Ocean, the U.S. island territory of Guam is a critically strategic island in the Indo-Pacific region.

Defending Guam requires an integrated and layered defense system comprising not only distributed sensors and shooters but also 360 degrees of coverage.

As a leading mission integrator, Lockheed Martin was selected to deliver the Aegis Combat System, the AN/TPY-6 radar and Aegis launchers for this critical priority in USINDOPACOM's Pacific Deterrence Initiative.
