March 2023 --

Each year Lockheed Martin reaffirms its commitment to meeting compliance requirements and ensuring equal employment opportunity (EEO) in all aspects of our operations. Our core values drive how we conduct business – and EEO plays a vital role in establishing an equitable, productive, inclusive and diverse work environment. Notifying our suppliers of our approach and affirmative action requirements is in accordance with our prime contract requirements.

Our affirmative action efforts related to protected veterans and individuals with disabilities is outlined in the  corporate policy statement below, Nondiscrimination and Equal Employment Opportunity Policy (CPS-003). We ask that you review the latest updated guidance below.

As a federal contractor, Lockheed Martin is subject to nondiscrimination and affirmative action compliance requirements contained in various rules and regulations, including:

  • Executive Order 11246, as amended.
  • Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.
  • Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, as amended.

These regulations require informing our suppliers of our affirmative action policy on behalf of protected veterans (41 C.F.R. § 60-300.44(f)(1)(ii)) and individuals with disabilities (41 C.F.R. § 60-741.44(f)(1)(ii)).

Thank you for your continued commitment to equal opportunity.
