Military and Veteran Support

Committed to Serving and Honoring Our Nation’s Heroes

Of our 122,000 employee population, about one in five is a veteran, reservist, or military spouse. As a leading global defense technology company, we’re proud to stand by the entire military community.

We’re deeply committed to supporting service members and their families, empowering veterans in transition to the civilian sector, and honoring the legacy of those who have served.

Through funding research to help inform policy decisions and drive critical programming, we're working to make a positive impact on the lives of those who have sacrificed so much for our nation.

America’s Military and Veteran Caregivers: Hidden Heroes Emerging From the Shadows

2024 RAND Report Released

The report, commissioned by the Elizabeth Dole Foundation in partnership with Lockheed Martin, Wounded Warrior Project, AARP, and the Lilly Endowment, serves as a 10-year follow-up to the Foundation's first landmark report, released in 2014 from the White House.

It estimates that the number of Americans providing care to a wounded, ill, or injured service member or veteran now stands at 14.3 million – up from the 2014 estimate of 5.5 million – representing 5.5 percent of all U.S. adults.
