Cybersecurity

Goal

Address the dynamic threat landscape with a resilient cyber posture that evolves at the pace of technology advancements

Lockheed Martin recognizes the importance of evolving our AI-driven threat modeling to enhance protection of our intellectual property and thwart cybersecurity attacks. Through the use of AI, our Corporate Information Security team continues to improve the accuracy, consistency and speed of threat model generation, which can then be customized to industry best practices and threats we face. We have numerous policies, manuals and response plans in place that help us maintain a strong security culture.

In addition, our business area Information Security Officers created a cross-functional working group to identify, improve and streamline processes, in some cases developing supporting automation. Lockheed Martin also remains a leader in educating the next generation of cyber leaders, participating in STEM outreach through events and sponsorships.

Our Chief Information Security Officer provides oversight of the cybersecurity initiatives, carried out by our Information Assurance Engineering team and supported by the IT program office.

Human Rights

At Lockheed Martin, we are committed to the protection and advancement of human rights. The broad scope of our company’s policies and procedures reflects the multiple touchpoints with recognized human rights principles that guide our behaviors and operations. Mandatory employee and third-party consultant training across a wide range of human rights topics is an integral component of our commitments and ongoing due diligence processes. Public policies and procedures related to human rights can be found in our Disclosure Hub.

This effort is overseen by our vice president of Ethics and Business Conduct. Governance of our human rights program follows the top-down accountability structure as further described in our 2026 Proxy Report. A newly established cross-functional Human Rights Focus Group, consisting of members from Ethics, Legal, HR, Supply Chain and Sustainability, examines strategies for evolution of our human rights policy and impact assessment.

Lockheed Martin’s activities are conducted in compliance with the laws and regulations of the countries in which we operate, except where such laws conflict with U.S. law. This is reinforced by our robust integrated assurance program and board of directors’ oversight of our human rights activities and enterprise risk management process. U.S. Government laws, regulations and policies overlay and guide application of our diligence processes related to international military sales.

Based on our policies and Code of Conduct, our Supplier Code of Conduct describes the expectations that we place on our suppliers and partners to share in our commitment to supporting the human rights of all workers in our supply chain.
